Solid Rock desires for their students to love learning and to learn what is needed for an abundant and successful life. We provide a Christ-Centered education that leads students in their knowledge of God, a Biblical worldview, leadership, and the practical life skills needed for success.

We don't just teach students how to regurgitate what is taught; but rather to be free-thinkers who form opinions, ask questions and put these thoughts into action.

At Solid Rock, students will receive engaging, practical, and challenging curriculum that is catered to each student's current academic level in language arts and mathematics. They will work in mixed grade levels while learning to build productive relationships with their facilitator and peers.

We partner with parents and community members to teach a wide variety of practical life skills that students will need for the rest of their lives. These skills (at age appropriate levels) can include:
-
Basic Sewing & Cooking
-
Finances/Budgeting
-
Leadership

To Love:
Jesus modeled to us the importance of serving and loving others.

Each month we work together to serve one another, our hosting facilities, and our community.

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." -John 15:12

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." -Galatians 5:13

We believe that life is best lived in community. Serving together builds deep and meaningful relationships. It also teaches us new skills, gives us experiences, grows our confidence and leadership, and shows us the value to being a part of a team while learning from others.

Serving is how we put our faith into action. Our hope is that students will seek God for how He may lead them to serve others!
To Live:
Jesus said, "I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b)

At the core of Solid Rock, we desire for students to hold fast to that truth and discover the abundant life that God has for each and every one of them. There are no limits with God. We encourage them to always dream big and never stop pursuing Him!

We foster an environment that actively invites God into our daily lives. We regularly share testimonies of how He's working so students can witness that He is active, alive, and moving in their lives personally!

"Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." -Romans 12:2

I have always had a passion for solid education that is founded on God's Truth and brings life & creativity to learning! We are all created for an amazing purpose that is life giving...what a privilege it is to be a part of God's work and how He wants to show the students at Solid Rock his love for them! I am excited to watch them love to learn, learn more about God and serving His people, and learn the practical life skills needed for a successful life!
I love spending time with my husband, kiddos, family and friends!
Statement of Faith
We Believe:
All Scripture, the complete sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, is God-breathed and without error. It is our written guide from God to understand life, who He is, who we are, and His purpose for us.
There is one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who created the heavens and the earth and every living creature.
God created man and woman in His image. He intended for them to have a perfect relationship with Him. He created both man and woman with unique roles to compliment each other. God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union.
We have an enemy whose desire is to steal, kill, and destroy us. Satan is a fallen angel of Heaven. He and his demons go to great lengths to attempt to pull us away from God.
God gave man the choice to choose to trust and follow Him and have a perfect relationship with Him, but man chose to disobey God, trust Satan’s lies, and give in to their own desires. The consequence/penalty of man’s sin is death and eternal separation from God.
Because of God’s everlasting and faithful love for us, He provided a way back into relationship with Himself. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, as a substitution for us. He performed many miracles while here on Earth and still performs miracles today. Jesus, fully God, was born fully man by miraculous conception and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died a sinner’s death on a cross as the substitution for the sin of all mankind. Three days after His death, He rose from death to life to abolish death forever for those who believe.
It is by God’s grace alone, not a result of any work of man, we are saved from our sin, called children of God, and given everlasting life in Heaven after death on Earth. For those who believe that Jesus is their Savior, the One who died in their place, and the Lord of their life, the One they seek, trust, and follow, they have access to a relationship with God here on Earth and will be in perfect relationship with Him forever in eternity.
The Church, made up of imperfect men and women saved by God’s grace and led by the power of the Holy Spirit, was created to proclaim the Gospel around the world, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all Jesus has commanded us while trusting that He is here with us always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Jesus will return to Earth one day to judge the living and the dead. He will defeat Satan once and for all. For those who do not believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they will be condemned to Hell forever. For those who do believe, He will raise up to be with Him forever in eternity. One day, at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father and each one will give an account of himself to God (Philippians 2:10-11, Romans 14: 11-12). Every tribe and tongue, every man, woman, and child must know of Jesus’ love for them!
